Poona College of Pharmacy, situated in Pune, was founded in 1981 by Dr. Patanjali Kadam, the visionary behind Bharati Vidyapeeth. The institution is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE, making it a notable part of Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is deemed to be a university. As a leader in pharmaceutical education and research in Maharashtra, it holds accreditations from NBA and NAAC with an A+ Grade, along with an ISO 9001-2015 certification. The college provides a variety of programs, offering B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Ph.D. courses, as well as a PharmD (PB) at the postgraduate tier. It allocates 100 seats for its B.Pharm program. The M.Pharm course is available in multiple specializations such as Drug Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
