The auditorium at NIFT Chennai can accommodate around 800 students and is used for college fests, cultural, social, and economic sessions, as well as various programs organized by the college. The campus also includes advanced labs like the Weaving Lab, Dyeing and Printing Lab, Knitting Lab, Leather Design Lab, Accessory Design Lab, and Garment Technology Lab. The institute hosts four clubs that encourage students to showcase their handcrafted work through workshops. The Multi-Activity Centre includes spaces for sports like basketball, volleyball, table tennis, football, and cricket, as well as a gym. NIFT Chennai provides hostel accommodation for both boys and girls on a first-come-first-served basis. Preference is given to outstation students, and rooms are allocated yearly with AC and non-AC options available. Each student receives a cot, writing table, chair, and almirah. The hostel offers facilities such as a hygienic mess, water dispensers, laundry service, healthcare, Wi-Fi, and security services. Students have also shared a tour of the hostel, showcasing the canteen, mess, and biometric facilities.
