Established in 1987 and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Pramukhswami Medical College has built a steady reputation. Bhaikaka University holds a NAAC 'A' grade, and in the NIRF 2023 rankings, the medical college secured the 43rd position among medical institutions in India, giving you a fair idea of its academic standing. The primary course here is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), alongside several postgraduate MD and MS programs. Admission to the MBBS program is strictly based on your NEET UG score, with seats allocated through the state-level counselling conducted by ACPUGMEC, Gujarat. There is no direct admission or management quota in the traditional sense, as all seats are filled based on merit through the centralized process.
