Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences makes sure that students have all they need for a comfortable and enriching campus life. For accommodation, there are separate hostels for boys and girls. Each room can accommodate 2-3 students, with options for both AC and non-AC rooms. The hostels provide continuous water supply with geysers for hot water. Each room has a private washroom. Additionally, there's a mess for dining, along with a guest room, reading room, and a recreational room with a TV. The institute places a strong emphasis on the overall development of students beyond academics. This is supported through various committees such as those addressing gender harassment, anti-ragging measures, the college council, clinico-pathology, student welfare, and mortality review, all aimed at nurturing students' personalities and well-being. Beyond these, the college offers several other facilities. A well-stocked library, a canteen, a gymnasium, and an auditorium are available. There are also medical facilities, a training and placement cell, and playgrounds to help students achieve their health and fitness objectives.
