Bharati College, established in 1971, is a public women's college linked to Delhi University. It has been accredited with a B++ grade by NAAC and holds the 46th position in India in the commerce category as ranked by India Today in 2024. As one of Delhi University's arts colleges, Bharati College offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, admitting students through merit and entrance exams. Its flagship program is the BA (Hons) in Journalism, with a first-year fee of INR 16,555 for 2025. The college offers a BA (Hons) degree in eight specializations, including English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Philosophy, and Journalism. Admission prerequisites include completing 10+2 and a valid CUET score, with centralized counseling and seat allocation conducted through the DU admission portal. Bharati College provides various scholarships and awards designed to recognize academic excellence, overall achievement, and economic need across diverse departments.
