

Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences, a government medical college established in 2013, is recognized by the Medical Council of India. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). The institute offers undergraduate MBBS courses and postgraduate MD/MS courses in various specializations. Admissions for both MBBS and MD/MS programs are determined by NEET UG and NEET PG scores, respectively. Each year, the institute has 150 seats available for the MBBS program. Out of these, 85% of the seats are allocated under the state quota through counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), while the remaining 15% are filled through the All India Quota by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
