The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) has been recognized with a Certificate of Achievement for its participation in the GHRDC hotel management institute survey. It stands at the 11th position among the top government hotel management institutes in India and holds the 1st rank in Bihar. One of its prominent alumni is Pankaj Tripathi, who transitioned from working in a 5-star restaurant to becoming a successful actor. IHM Hajipur offers a variety of programs. It provides a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, along with diploma courses in food production and food and beverage services. The B.Sc degree focuses on Hospitality and Hotel Administration and spans over three years. Admission is based on the NCHMCT JEE scores, and candidates must have cleared the 10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream with English as a subject. The diploma in Food Production is a 1.5-year course, and admissions are primarily based on merit. Students interested in Food & Beverage services can also pursue relevant courses at IHM Hajipur.
