

Indian Institute of Technology Goa, often referred to as IIT Goa or IIT Ponda, was founded in 2016. In the BTech category, it holds the 45th position in India as ranked by Collegedunia. IIT Goa provides programs including BTech, MTech, and PhD in diverse fields, but its BTech course is notably the flagship offering. Admissions for the BTech program are determined by JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling, offering a total of 157 seats. For the initial three years, IIT-Bombay guided IIT-Goa under a mentorship arrangement.
