Pithapur Rajah’s College, established in 1884, holds the reputation of being one of the oldest higher education institutions in South India. Nestled in the heart of Kakinada, the college is recognized with the College with Potential Excellence status by the UGC because of its innovative academic models. It aims to weave education into the lives of socially disadvantaged communities and notably, it was among the first to offer full fee exemptions to meritorious female students. The college offers a variety of undergraduate courses in arts, commerce, and sciences, alongside postgraduate programs. At the undergraduate level, students can opt for BA, B.Com, B.Sc., or vocational courses, with options to specialize in various combinations. Postgraduate offerings include courses like M.Sc. in several branches such as Computers and Zoology, MA in Economics, and M.Com.
