Established in 2007, Vivekananda Dental College for Women in Tiruchengodu has carved a niche for itself as a leading institution for dental education exclusively for women. Affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), the college is committed to providing quality education in dental sciences. It has earned a commendable 'A+' grade accreditation from NAAC, reflecting its high standards in teaching and infrastructure. The college primarily offers the five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, with an annual intake of 100 students. For postgraduate studies, it provides MDS programs across nine different specializations, including Orthodontics and Oral Surgery. Admission to these courses is highly competitive, based strictly on the scores obtained in the NEET UG for BDS and NEET MDS for the postgraduate programs, with counselling managed by the state authorities.
