

The College of Veterinary Sciences, established in 1955, is a government-run institution located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and was inaugurated by the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri B. Gopala Reddy. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is affiliated with Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVUU), Tirupati. This college provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in veterinary sciences, including B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc., and Ph.D. The undergraduate curriculum is structured according to the guidelines set by the Veterinary Council of India. For eligibility, candidates must have completed 10+2 to apply for the B.V.Sc. program. Those interested in the M.V.Sc. program must possess a relevant bachelor's degree. To pursue a Ph.D., a candidate is required to hold a master’s degree. Admissions to the undergraduate B.V.Sc. program at the College of Veterinary Sciences, Tirupati, are based on the A.P EAMCET exam. For postgraduate programs, students are selected through an entrance test administered by the college itself.
