Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education, commonly known as JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), is a prominent engineering institution located in Bangalore. This college, which started in 1997, is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and is approved by AICTE and recognized by IGC. In 2025, JSSATE was ranked 385th among Indian engineering institutes by Collegedunia and 68th by The Week in 2024. Eligibility for the BE program requires candidates to clear 10+2 with PCM and a minimum of 45% marks, along with qualifying in KCET or COMEDK UGET. The total fees for the BE program range from INR 2.81 Lakhs to INR 10.66 Lakhs. The placement report for 2025 is yet to be fully released, but data from the official website indicates that the highest package recorded was INR 16 LPA. During the 2025 placement season, over 300 job offers were extended, with top recruiters like Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, TVS, KPMG, and Amazon visiting the campus.
