The New College, founded in 1951, is a public autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Madras. Situated on a 13.5-acre campus in Chennai, it has achieved an A++ grade accreditation from NAAC. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, it's positioned in the 151-200 bracket and holds the 100th spot in Commerce by Outlook for 2024.
