St Pious Degree College for Women was envisioned by Rev. Fr. Silvio Pasquali, who aimed to eliminate poverty, social injustice, and ignorance, especially among rural communities. His mission began in 1918 in the Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh. The college came into existence in 1993, starting with just 90 female students. Located conveniently close to Nacharam Mallapur Road, the college is easily accessible within the urban setting of Hyderabad. It offers undergraduate programs leading to Bachelor’s Degrees in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Business Administration, as well as postgraduate degrees in Science and Business Administration. Furthermore, it provides vocational and foundation courses to aid students who face challenges in accessing mainstream education. The college boasts modern facilities, including a library, internet access, laboratories, and a cutting-edge auditorium suitable for hosting seminars and events. The faculty is highly experienced and knowledgeable, fostering a supportive learning environment.
