Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Patna, inaugurated in 2006, is a private institute affiliated with BIT Mesra, sanctioned by AICTE and COA. In terms of rankings, BIT Patna was positioned at 99 by IIRF in 2024 and 125 by Collegedunia in 2025. BIT Patna provides diverse programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, with B.Tech as its premier course. Admissions are mainly through exams like JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, or XAT. For B.Tech in 2025, selection will be based on the JEE Main results, and the subsequent CSAB/JoSAA counseling is expected to occur in June 2025.
