The Department of Financial Studies, or DFS Delhi, is part of the University of Delhi, established in 1987. It is recognized by the CFA University Affiliation Program in the USA. DFS Delhi offers a range of management specializations across UG, PG, and PhD levels, with its flagship course being an MBA. Other courses include BMS, BA, BBA, B.Voc, and PhD. The first-year fees for the MBA program at DFS Delhi range from INR 48,500 to INR 50,500. Admissions to most programs at DFS Delhi are based on entrance exam scores. For the MBA program, admissions are determined by scores from the CAT exams. PhD admissions rely on scores from CSIR-NET, UGC-NET, and DUET, followed by a research proposal presentation and personal interview. In 2024, the CAT cutoff for the first round was 95 for the General category under HS quota.
