The University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ), the oldest higher education institution in Rajasthan, was established in 1947 and is located in Jaipur. It spans an area of 338.14 acres. The university proudly holds an 'A+' grade from NAAC and is recognized by UGC as a University with Potential for Excellence. UNIRAJ accommodates 26,883 students supported by 711 faculty members, resulting in a student-to-faculty ratio of 37:1. UNIRAJ provides a wide range of 197 courses across various levels including undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, PG diploma, and certificate programs. PhD admissions are directed by the UNIRAJ-MPAT exam. For the BA LLB program, the 2024 RULET cutoff is 109 for the general category. In terms of recognition, UNIRAJ ranks 313 for B.Tech as per the 2025 Collegedunia Ranking.
