Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), established in 1998, is located in Belgaum, Karnataka, and stands as one of India's prominent public technological universities. Recognized by both AICTE and UGC, VTU affiliates 182 colleges, along with one constituent college and 25 autonomous colleges. It also operates four regional centers in Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kalaburgai, and Mysuru. The university holds a B++ grade from NAAC and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
