J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, which is also known as YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST), was founded in 1969. In 2025, the university's Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program was ranked 57th in India by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF), while its B.Tech program was ranked between 151 and 200 in 2024 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The university offers a wide range of programs for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels, mainly focusing on B.Tech and MBA degrees. To secure admission in the B.Tech course, students need to clear the JEE Main exam, followed by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) procedures.
