Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, set up in 2010 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is a public business school established by the Government of India's Ministry of Human Resource Development. It is an AACSB-accredited institution that provides several programs, including MBA, MBA in Policy and Governance, Executive MBA, and PhD. In the 2024 NIRF rankings, IIM Raipur was placed 14th among 125 management institutions. Starting in 2026, IIM Raipur will engage in a Joint Admission Process alongside IIM Trichy, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Kashipur. The flagship course at IIM Raipur is the MBA. Aspirants need to have at least 60% in their graduation (50% for SC and 45% for ST categories) from a recognized university to apply. Final selection hinges on CAT scores, work experience, group discussions, personal interviews, and profile scores. For the 2024 MBA intake, the CAT cutoff for General Category applicants was 92 percentile. The program fee is INR 18 lakhs. As for placements, the 2025 data is yet to be announced, but in 2024, IIM Raipur’s placement season attracted participation from 116 companies. The peak salary package offered was INR 42.29 LPA, with the average standing at INR 18.15 LPA. Notable recruiters included Accenture, Adani, Amazon, Deloitte, Bosch, Cognizant, EY, KPMG, Siemens, SBI, and TCS, among others.
