CSVTU, established by the Chhattisgarh State Government in 2005, is approved by AICTE, UGC, and MHRD. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and PhD courses in fields like Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, and Management. Admission to these courses can be either entrance-based or merit-based. The BTech program is CSVTU's main highlight, with two specializations available. Aspirants must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 75% to qualify for admission. Final selection is determined by scores from JEE Main or CG-PET, followed by a counselling process. According to the JoSAA website, the BTech program has a total capacity of 90 seats. Fees for the BTech range from INR 1.5 Lakhs to INR 4.16 Lakhs, depending on the specialization chosen. CSVTU Bhilai also supports deserving students through AICTE's scholarship and fellowship programs. Notable among these are the Pragati Scholarship Scheme, aimed at girl students in degree and diploma courses, and the Saksham Scholarship Scheme, designed for specially-abled students pursuing degrees and diplomas.
