Kavery Engineering College, established in 2009 by a group of philanthropists, aims to provide technical and scientific education to students from rural backgrounds. The college is affiliated with Anna University, approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC. The institution boasts multiple departments, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Application, and Science and Humanities. Extracurricular activities abound, with students participating in sports, various associations, the Youth Red Cross, NSS, and the Red Ribbon Club. The college library is fully automated, utilizing AutoLib software, and houses an extensive collection of 1,00,000 volumes, 10,000 titles, 400 journals, and 65 magazines. Hostel facilities are well-equipped, offering separate accommodations for boys and girls. The hostels provide quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals and recreational facilities. The college also hosts events like the cultural fest Ribbonz and the national-level Robotryst workshop, supported by IIT Bombay. In 2013, Career360 rated the college with a state rank of A-. Various scholarships are available based on marks, with full tuition waivers for certain score brackets and government scholarships offering substantial aid. Lateral entry students receive tuition waivers based on diploma marks, encouraging meritorious students to pursue higher education without financial stress.
