FET JU Scholarships The university is committed to encouraging higher education among students who show merit and potential. It provides a variety of scholarships in different categories. These scholarships are awarded based on scores from CET, COMEDK, Uni-GAUGE, and JEE Main & Advanced. For students from the CBSE or ISE boards, scholarships are given on merit. Gate-qualified students can receive a scholarship covering 50% of the first-year tuition fee, limited to one seat per branch, which continues if the student maintains over 60% in the first year. JEE (MAIN) Based Scholarships for B.Tech Applicants Those B.Tech applicants who perform well in JEE-Main, conducted by the NTA, and apply to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) - Faculty of Engineering and Technology can qualify for merit-based scholarships. Eligibility: Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% in their 12th/2nd PUC or any equivalent examination as prescribed by AICTE and UGC. Note: Scholarships are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, after checking scorecards and getting approval from university officials. FET JU Facilities Library: The library is a treasure trove of resources, boasting around 30,000 books in addition to CDs, DVDs, and journals. It also subscribes to over 120 national and international periodicals and offers internet access. Seminar Hall: FET JU features an impressive theatre-style seminar hall used by faculty and students for seminars, student club activities, and recruitment events. Auditorium: The auditorium is equipped with modern facilities for hosting corporate events, seminars, student-related activities, and general announcements. Cafeteria: This is a lively spot where students engage in both formal and informal discussions, sharing ideas and strategies for daily assignments and activities. Hostel: Hostel facilities are available for both male and female students with rooms offered on a sharing basis. Boys’ hostels have 2 or 3 sharing options, and girls’ hostels offer 2, 3, or 4 sharing options.
