Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, known as SVIT Bangalore, is a private institution founded in 2008. It is affiliated with Visvesvarya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. The college has the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka. According to rankings, SVIT was placed 605th by Collegedunia in 2025, and 230th by The Week in 2024 under the engineering category. SVIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with the B.E. program being its main focus. There are seven specializations available for the B.E. degree. Admission to these programs is based on scores from entrance exams like KCET and COMED-K, followed by Karnataka state counselling. SVIT has published its placement report for 2024. The report shows the highest package reached INR 10.24 LPA, while the median package was INR 5 LPA for B.E. students. Over 200 students successfully secured placements during the 2024 drive.
