

The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), under India’s Ministry of Power, serves as the leading body for developing human resources in the nation’s power sector. NPTI's Eastern Region branch, based in Durgapur since 1968, is one of its nine regional centers. This institute, nestled in the City Centre area on Michel Faraday Avenue, is conveniently situated about 9 km from Durgapur Railway Station. Commuters can easily access this location using taxis, auto-rickshaws, or city buses followed by rickshaws from City Centre. NPTI boasts modern training facilities and is staffed with experienced faculty who bring both professional and instructional expertise, along with a wealth of experience in research and development.
