MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, better known as MVJCE, is a private autonomous engineering college founded in 1982. It is affiliated with VTU, Belgaum, and holds approvals from AICTE along with accreditations from NBA and NAAC, boasting a 'B++' grade valid until December 2024. In 2025, the Times of India ranked it 150th in India. The college offers a variety of programs such as B.E., B.E. (Lateral), M.Tech, and MBA, with its B.E. program standing out as the flagship course. The first-year fees for this program can vary between INR 1,35,000 and INR 4,17,000 depending on the specialization chosen. Admission into the B.E. program is primarily based on KCET scores. Regarding placements in 2024, the CSE branch saw the highest success, with 198 out of 254 students securing jobs. Meanwhile, in the ECE branch, 74 out of 154 students were placed, and in the IS branch, 66 out of 112 students got jobs. The AE and ME branches had 18 and 11 students placed respectively.
