

Vinod Gupta School of Management, known as VGSOM, is a recognized government institute that was set up in 1993 as the management wing of IIT Kharagpur. During the 2024 placement season, the highest offer was INR 37.07 LPA, with an average package of INR 20.83 LPA and a median of INR 20.65 LPA. Notably, the strategy and consulting sector dominated placements, making up 29% in 2024, with a rise to 45% in 2025.
