

Rajasthan Unani Medical College & Hospital, established in 1980 by The Taraqqi Tibbi Society in Rajasthan, is rooted in a medical system evolved by the Arabs, who provided it with a scientific foundation. Initially linked with the University of Rajasthan, it is now affiliated with Rajasthan Ayurved University in Jodhpur, and is recognized by the State Government and C.C.I.M. New Delhi. The college offers a B.U.M.S. degree program with cutting-edge infrastructure and extensive facilities, including a leased herbal garden spanning 56 beghas, where diverse herbal plants essential for the hospital pharmacy and for student practicals are cultivated. Bachelor's program in Unani Medicine and Surgery, which runs for four and a half years, including a compulsory one-year internship. The curriculum covers various disciplines taught across departments such as Kulliyat (Principles of Medicine), Tashreeh-ul-Badan (Anatomy), Moalijat (Medicine), and Jarahiyat (Surgery).
