Lady Hardinge Medical College, popularly referred to as LHMC, is a prestigious medical institution in India exclusively for women, established back in 1916. Known as one of the oldest medical colleges in the country, it is affiliated with the University of Delhi. The college is located in the bustling area of Connaught Place in New Delhi. LHMC holds the 20th spot in the Medical category of the Collegedunia rankings for 2025 and provides more than 25 courses across undergraduate, postgraduate, and super specialty levels. The flagship course of LHMC is MBBS, with the first-year fee for the 2025 batch set at INR 1,655. To be eligible for admission, candidates need to have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% marks from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects. The selection process relies on the scores obtained in the NEET - UG exam. Every year, LHMC offers 200 seats for the MBBS program, where 77% are reserved for Delhi students, while the remaining 15% are open to students from across India.
