About

Jorhat Medical College's cut-off marks are crucial for admissions, as they represent the minimum required scores set by the selection board for various courses. The merit list hinges on these cut-off figures, and students wishing to join the institute need to meet these standards. In the NEET UG 2019 examination, the cut-off for the Unreserved (UR) category required students to be in the 50th percentile, with scores between 701 and 134. For OBC, SC, and ST categories, the cut-off was at the 40th percentile, with scores between 133 and 107. The UR-PH category had a 45th percentile requirement with scores ranging from 133 to 120, and the cut-off for OBC, SC, and ST was at the 40th percentile, needing scores from 119 to 107. Moving to NEET PG 2020's anticipated cut-offs, the minimum qualifying percentile for Unreserved candidates was at the 50th percentile with a cut-off score of 340 out of 1200. For candidates in the Unreserved Physically Handicapped (UR-PH) category, the cut-off was set at the 45th percentile with a score of 317. Meanwhile, SC, ST, OBC, including their PH categories, required the 40th percentile and a score of 295. For NEET PG 2019, the initially set qualifying criteria for the General category demanded the 50th percentile with cut-off marks of 340, later revised to the 44th percentile with a score of 313. For SC, ST, and OBC, the original 40th percentile requirement with a score of 295 was adjusted to the 34th percentile with a score of 270. Persons with Disabilities had their criteria revised from the 45th percentile and score of 317 down to the 39th percentile and a score of 291.
