Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, known as RPGMC, is a state-run medical institution established in 1996. It is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). RPGMC provides 21 different courses in medicine. According to Collegedunia's ranking of medical colleges, RPGMC Tanda holds the 122nd position among 660 medical colleges in India. The flagship program offered by RPGMC is the MBBS. It also offers Postgraduate programs like MD/MS and Ophthalmology. To get into the MBBS course, students need to complete their 10+2 with at least 50% marks from a recognized board and must clear the NEET exam. The fee for the first year of the MBBS program stands at INR 60,000. Regarding placements, the 2025 placement report for RPGMC Tanda is yet to be published. However, Collegedunia reviews indicate that the highest package offered was INR 30 lakh per annum, and the average package came to around INR 4.8 lakh per annum.
