Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College, commonly known as BJMC Pune, was founded in 1871 and is situated in Pune, Maharashtra. It is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. The college provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various specializations. Moreover, it offers PG Diploma courses for eligible candidates. The flagship course at BJMC Pune is the MBBS, with a total fee of INR 5.31 lakhs. To be eligible, candidates need to have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% marks in PCB from a recognized board. Admissions are based on merit determined by NEET UG, followed by Maharashtra NEET Counselling. The MD/MS programs are highly sought after at BJMC Pune, with admissions conducted through exams such as NEET-UG, NEET PG, and NEET SS.
