Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital came into existence in 1996 and is recognized as a Hindu Minority Institution by the Jammu & Kashmir State Government. This college boasts three distinct departments of medicine, all staffed by a well-qualified team of doctors from various regions of the State and across the country. Currently, there are 108 specialists working across different departments, supported by approximately 100 senior and junior resident doctors and tutors. The courses offered by the college include MBBS, MD, and MS programs.
