

The Business School at the University of Jammu has come to understand that while academic and technical brilliance, along with integrity and innovation, are crucial, they truly gain significance when aligned with human virtues and social responsibility. Founded in 1987, this school is recognized among the top ten university business schools in India as per a 2007 survey by Outlook. It is also a UGC and AICTE-recognized institution, offering short-term training programs for management educators. The school's vision is to be a leading center for excellence in management education, teaching, and research. Among its facilities, the Business School boasts a computer lab equipped with 21 computers, seven printers, two photocopy machines, two overhead projectors (OHP), a slide projector, and a film projector. The library is well-stocked with 8,535 books and subscribes to 22 national and six international journals. In terms of recognition, the school was placed in the A+ category by Business India in 2009, and recognized by AIMA in the A category the same year. It also achieved a top-ten ranking among university business schools in India in 2007 as per the Outlook survey.
