Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) is a state-run university located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It enjoys recognition from the UGC and is a part of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university affiliates with 449 colleges, including 150 for B.Ed courses. Currently, MGSU provides a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and PG Diploma programs, facilitated through 12 departments and its affiliated colleges. The university offers programs across diverse fields such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Management, and Law. For undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, candidates are selected based on the marks they obtain in the qualifying examinations, followed by the release of a merit list by the university. Meanwhile, entry into M.Phil and Ph.D. courses involves clearing an entrance test, succeeded by a personal interview conducted by the university. Throughout its various programs, MGSU maintains a comprehensive academic structure, catering to a wide array of subjects and specializations, which makes it one of the prominent educational institutions in the region.
